I post one of these every 6 months, so don’t feel special.
So, it’s the ’11-’12 school year winter finals. Like last year, I’m stressed and loaded on caffeine. Unlike last year, I actually have a good idea of what I’m doing. Cramming = Sometimes, Long-Term Studying =The last two weeks.
My schedule pans out as:
Friday – Math + Psychology
Monday – American Lit + Spanish 2
Tuesday – Creative Writing + US History + Chem/Phys
It’s not going to be pretty.
I also have my future planned out a little more solidly this time. I’ll either get an English degree and be a librarian, go to watchmaking school and be a watch fixer/flipper, or be a mechanic somewhere. Personally, I’m thinking pretty hard about the last one. I’d like to be a mechanic because I’m good at figuring out how things work, break, and get fixed.
I’m still with Justin, we celebrated our 1-year anniversary in September and are enjoying life as it is right now. I still have the same awesome friends, we’re still doing awesome things and remaining decent human beings. I’ve also cut my hair, dyed it purple, and gotten glasses, so I think I’m gonna try to move myself from “Goth” to “geeky-Goth” and incorporate more of my personality into things.
TL;DR version: Life’s good. I’m chilling out after finals are over with a well-deserved trip with the family. I’m happy.
